Content Manager

Be the central, dedicated person to organize, standardize, and prioritize all the content.
Content consists of 1 piece of web content/month for ~40 clients, web content translation for about half the clients, social media content for about ¾ clients, other content as needed (occasional blogs, on-page optimization, press releases)
Daily management of the content team (6+ writers, 3+ editors, 1 lead editor, 1 in-house social media person, 1 in-house Spanish translator, and variety of freelancers on sites like Upwork/Textbroker)
Edit/perform quality control on all content
Train/work with the content team as needed to improve any trouble areas
Keep content team on schedule for all deliverables
Work closely with SEO team & client management team to understand target keywords and topics for each client
Work closely with SEO team to make sure good SEO practices are followed including keyword density, linking strategy, etc.
Understand each client’s firm and website in order to create content that supports their objectives
Understand and enforce individual client requirements as needed
Weekly reporting on content project statuses, trouble spots, and successes to management

A good working understanding of SEO content optimization
Familiarity with: project management tools, social media management platforms, email marketing platforms, SEO tools
Proven record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadlines
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Experience with social media platforms, engagement strategies, and best practices
Experience working as a content writer with a desire to advance into management OR experience managing other writers (staff, contractors, or team)
Available M-F, normal business hours
Desire to advance your career and work in a collaborative, quickly changing environment
Nice to have: basic WordPress experience

Ideally, you already have some experience managing people, processes, and demonstrated success in the content management space. We’re also open to an experienced content writer who is hungry to advance their career and take on managing a team. Our processes are already established, but we would expect you to be the leader of content efforts within our organization.


Salary: Starting at U$D3,000
